Good Poetry doesn't just happen. As with any good writing, you have to study and work at it and rewrite  until it sounds good.
Poetry is more complex than prose, it conveys mood and emotion as well as specific denotation and connotation in its specific words.
The sound and rhythm is important in saying what you want to express to the reader.
Bad poetry just sounds bad. Good poetry sounds good and the sense should come from the sound.
